Differences Make No Difference

Differences Make No Difference

Our oldest son, Jackson (10), has just finished publishing a children’s book about himself and his little brother, Chase (6). The title of the book is Differences Make No Difference. (Beginners reading level)bookjb

Jackson will tell you that the purpose of this book is twofold:

  • To educate people that God has made all kids, “typical” and “disabled,” for His glory (Isa. 43:6-7), and that God has made them just the way He wanted them to be (Psalm 139:13-14). Although some people may criticize you for your differences, you can always find joy and gladness from God’s steadfast love (Psalm 90:14).
  • To raise money for children in Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast) who have special needs or who cannot afford to go to school. Our missionary friends, Glenn and Linn Boese, who have been working in Ferke, Côte d’Ivoire for the last 30 years, will be distributing the proceeds of Jackson’s book to local children. Approximately $150 will send one child to school for an entire year, and $10 will buy a month’s supply of epilepsy medicine!
