Return to In-Person Services

Return to In-Person Services

We have resumed onsite ministries on Sunday, at 9:00 and 10:30 AM. We look forward to being together, and continual preparations are being made for your arrival each week.

Here is some information you may find helpful:

Facility

We will have a clean facility for you when you arrive. If you have concerns about the cleanliness of surfaces, we would recommend that you attend the 9:00 AM service.

Social Distancing

We have arranged the seating in the auditorium to allow for social distancing between the rows. We anticipate keeping the attendance at a 50% capacity and have set up the auditorium accordingly. We will not require reservations for attendance unless it becomes necessary to do so in the weeks ahead.

Singing

We anticipate singing as we gather. The rows have been spaced to provide increased distance between the worshippers for this purpose. The foyer and fireside room are available for those who desire to enter the auditorium after the singing. The audio of both worship services will be available in the foyer. The Sunday morning sermon will continue to be made available on our YouTube channel at 10:30 AM.

Masks

Masks will not be required for staff or guests. You are welcome to wear a mask to our service, and we ask that our members and attenders be respectful of each other’s particular practice.

Nursery & CHildren’s church

There will be a staffed nursery and children’s ministry program. We will have healthy workers and will admit only healthy children to our nursery and children’s ministry. Nursery workers, children’s ministry leaders, and children checked into these departments will be required to have their temperatures taken for admittance. The nursery and children’s ministry facility areas are only open to parents and family members who have been granted admission for participation.

For the families who will be participating in these ministries, please continue to check your email inbox for additional information and updates.

For those willing to serve the church by working in either the nursery or children’s ministry programs, please contact Crystal Sanders (989.928.2885) for serving in the nursery and Hannah Koch (810.922.3202) for the children’s ministry. Your help is needed. Please know that you will be joining a team of leaders who serve on a rotational basis. Your service will be a great benefit for the whole team and toward those who have gathered.

Families welcome

Healthy families, with family members who are symptom-free, are welcome to join the worship service in the auditorium. We ask that families sit together.

Health Precautions

If you are unhealthy, or have an unhealthy family member, we ask, out of love for your church family, that you please stay home. If you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, chills, loss of taste or smell, or have had contact within the last 14 days of someone diagnosed with COVID-19, please stay home.

At-Risk Demographic

If you are in an at-risk demographic with health risks or health concerns, you are invited and welcome to join us online. We look forward to your attendance when you are able to join us in person.

We desire to serve one another in love and with respect as we seek to resume our ministries both onsite and online.

Online sermon

The Sunday morning sermon will continue to be available on our YouTube channel at 10:30 AM.

BULLETINS

Printed bulletins will not be available. Digital bulletins may be accessed through a QR code in the facility, via the bulletin email sent weekly, or on our website here.

Adult Sunday School Class

Dr. Michael Gebler’s class will continue to meet online on Sunday afternoons. Please contact him should you desire to join his Bible study (989.790.4889).

If you have any questions regarding our return to in-person services, please do not hesitate to contact the office.

In Christ,
-Pastor Mark
