IBC Classics is a senior ministry that meets monthly, usually on the third Wednesday, to celebrate our common bond in Jesus. Meetings vary between participating in nearby activities and events, sharing our musical heritage, hearing informative and encouraging speakers, and anything else we think sounds like fun. Naturally, every meeting includes a tasty lunch.

The underlying purposes of IBC Classics involve sharing Christ with our neighbors and family members, encouraging each other to live in the fullness of joy Jesus offers, and challenging each other to plug-in with other ministries of the Church and avenues of service.

ibc classics cake bake // june 17
This month the Classics are going to help Community Village by baking cakes for the Strawberry Festival cakewalk. We have signed up for 60 single layer cakes. We plan to gather on Monday, June 17 at 9:00 AM in the church kitchen to bake, frost, and decorate the cakes with sprinkles. If you are interested in helping, sign up by clicking below. We will probably send out for sandwiches around noon. It should be a good time of fellowship as we work together.

Additionally, Classics are encouraged to help with some of the volunteer needs for the Strawberry Festival. Specific needs include; setting up tents on Monday June 17th, or on June 18th helping prepare and serve strawberry shortcake, or helping provide refreshments for other volunteers, and helping operate the bounce house. If you can share 2, 3, or 4 hours you would be appreciated. In fact, you don’t even have to be part of the Classics to help! You can contact Ken Streeter for details at (989) 860-5661
